| Discover the Puuc Route through an interesting Yucatan Mayan World Circuit. Visit Astonishing Chichen Itza-boasting the Kukulcan Pyramid, one of the “New Seven Wonders of the World, Ek-Balam (Black Jaguar)-the important new discovery, Izamal-with the first church in continental America, the white colonial Merida and Valladolid cities, and the Puuc Route sites of amazing Uxmal, magnificent Kabah, impressive Labna and mysterious Loltun Caverns-the infra-world doorway.
Highlights
Day 1. We’ll pick you up at your Cancun’s hotel lobby. You’ll board a deluxe air-conditioned unit. A Mayan Culture expert English speaking Guide will help you with your luggage and will welcome you aboard. He will look after you throughout the trip. Our qualified driver will take the scenic toll road all the way to Chichen Itza where you will have a guided visit and some free time to either return to the buildings that interested you the most, visit different buildings, or visit the attractive site museum and library by the main entrance. He’ll let you know the time and place to contact him to take you to a local folkloric restaurant for a fresh all-you-can-eat tasteful buffet. Usually, local children in typical costumes perform folkloric dances during lunch time. You will depart for Izamal (first church established in the Americas) with a guided visit. After this short visit you will depart for colonial Merida - the white city (hotel registration for 2 nights). We will meet for dinner at 8:00 PM. We will dine in one of the most recognized Yucatecan regional restaurants.
Day 2. After breakfast we will depart for the Puuc Route, with guided visits at Kabah and Labna archaeological sites, and at legendary Loltun Caverns (the infra-world doorway for the Mayans). We will have lunch upon arrival in Uxmal and a guided visit in the afternoon. We will have free time to explore this incredible site and we will witness a spectacular light & sound show. We will return to Merida for dinner.
Day 3. After breakfast we will depart for colonial Merida half day city tour and then we will depart for colonial Valladolid for a quick city tour and lunch. We have a guided visit in recently discovered and restored amazing Ek-Balam archaeological site. We will return to Cancun. Passengers will be dropped-off directly at their hotels.
This Tour Includes
Pick-up and drop-off, deluxe air conditioned unit, travel insurance, round trip toll road fees, archaeological sites admission fees, certified English speaking Guide, qualified driver, half double room per person for two nights and taxes in a 4 star hotel in Merida (single rooms will pay a supplement), 2 breakfasts, 3 Lunches and 2 dinners. A 15 seats deluxe a/c Van will be used between 7 and 10 passengers (with one medium size bag and one carry-on p/p). A second 15 seats deluxe a/c Van will be used betwoeen 14 and 20 passengers. A deluxe a/c Motor coach bus will be used for more than 20 Passengers.
